Bridal Party Gifts – Kathy

Kathy is a Canadian bride to be that chose to go with hand painted wine glasses and pilsner glasses for her entire wedding party. Kathy really liked the design I used for Leslie’s wedding, so we just went with that and used Kathy’s colors! Kathy and I worked together for several days making sure I had all the details I needed in order to paint her glasses!
Kathy ordered 12 glasses for her wedding party. She only really needed ten, but I advised her that if she purchased three sets of four instead of ten individual, she’d actually save over $3.00 per glass! With that in mind, Kathy found a way to use the other two glasses!
Once I had all the information I needed, it was time to paint! Kathy’s colors were pink and
blue, so I used pinks on the ladies’ glasses and blue/black on the mens’. As in the past, Kathy agreed that the men really shouldn’t have flowers, ribbons, and doves. We left those off of the mens’ glasses. For the ladies, we used the pinks along with the ribbons, doves, and Gerber Daisies. I’m not sure why, but the Gerber Daisy is really popular this year!
I finished up Kathy’s hand painted wine glasses and pilsner glasses and shipped them off to her. Since they are going to Canada, it will take them a little longer to be delivered. But, I will be sure to post Kathy’s comments once she’s had a chance to see her bridal party gifts in person!
