Bridal Party Gifts – Sara
By Tabbi | April 21, 2010

Sara is another bride that chose hand painted wine glasses for her bridal party gifts. Sara chose to go with what seems to be a very popular design right now. She asked that I paint a monogram on each glass that represented the first initial of each of her girls. Sara’s colors are hot ping and black, so I designed the glass with those colors. On the base of the glass, I put “thank you for being my Maid of Honor or Bridesmaid. I also painted the wedding date on the base of the glass.
As stated earlier, the monogram style seems to be very popular right now. I know that I’ve done a lot of them this year. The only real question I have when painting these wine glasses is what font should I use? There are literally hundreds of fonts available. I have done some glasses with a really plain font. Sort of like the font in this text. The font I used on Sara’s
glasses is an Edwardian Script. To be honest, this is my favorite font for the bridal party gifts. It’s a fancy yet elegant font, so I think it’s perfect for a wedding.
